Last week me and JD went on a little adventure to Utah. My best friend from college (Deanna) and one of Spencer's roommates and best friend from college(Christian) adopted a BEAUTIFUL baby girl about 6 months ago. They are the most awesomest couple in the entire world and they have been waiting for this day for a very long time. This is their sweet angel, Emma.
They have an amazing story about how Emma came to them, but the simplest way to put it is that Heavenly Father new exactly when and how Emma should enter into their lives. What a miracle she is!
Do you notice how she has red hair just like me and Rylee? So she looks just like her cousin and her auntie!!!

Tuesday morning was the court finalization. The parts I heard (Because JD was a tad on the noisy side and I had to leave the room a couple times) were amazing and the Judge was awesome.
That evening was her beautiful blessing. Christian is an amazing man and again, the words I heard were soooo beautiful.
This pic cracks me up...I was in the middle of changing him and he saw the camera and kept saying cheese...so I took a pic. He looks like a little rico suave...

I had a wonderful time. In all the fun, I didn't get any pictures of me and my Deanna together :( I had such a wonderful time. I met three women that I will be friends with forever- Cilla, Linda, and Mare. I was able to almost pee my pants of laughter (Monday night's talk while we waited for family). I was able to enjoy only taking care of one child as opposed to 3 (which is a big difference and WAS a vacation). And most importantly, I was able to have one of the most Spiritual experiences of my life and I was able to witness one of the most special, sacred, and precious moments in someone I love dearly's life. I will never forget the moment when Deanna and Christian walked into the room, in white and made eye contact with me. And I will absolutely NEVER forget the moment Emma came in, all smiles, and was sealed for eternity to AMAZING people. Her beautiful smile I can't get out of my mind. It was so special. Thank you Deanna and Christian for allowing me to come and be a part of these moments in your life. I will NEVER EVER forget those feelings I had, those moments I was able to witness and somehow be apart of.

You will seriously NEVER understand how much this post meant to me. I love you so much Heather. Your friendship means the WORLD to me and I am SO BLESSED to have you as my BFF FOREVER. Thank you so much for your beautiful words and for the love and support you have shown me through all of our journey. You are so much a part of this and it was SO appropriate that you were there. WE LOVE YOU GUYS so much. I will never forget how special I felt that you went through SO much trouble, expense, stress and everything else to share this day with us. WE LOVE YOU!
