All-City

The big All- City cross country race was today. There were 34 schools represented and I believe 10 Ridgeview students total. This first pic was the best shot Spence could get of Blake preparing to start the race. 1st grade girls are in front, and Blake's group K-1st grade boys are behind the girls in this pic and ran second. Blake's division was by far the biggest one. There were about 140 + boys in his group. Spencer got some video, but for some reason it's not working on the computer. Blake started at the very end of the pack...in the video, you can see him almost last out of the 140, and nearly was involved in a crash at the very beginning. He got 51st place out of the 140ish kids in his division and ran it in 4:10. His previous best time was 4:20. we are so proud of him! He was sooooo happy and felt very good about his performance.

Cousin Kylan (he ran in the 6th grade, boy's division. He got 20th out of 70 with a mile time of 6:42. He's a stud too!)
