The Brower's: Primary Program and some Sunday photos

Well the Primary Program was today. I was the counselor in charge of it. It was a tad stressful preparing everything, but I am sooo glad I started preparing it months ago. It actually went quite smoothly and I felt good about it. I was at the mic helping all the children with their parts and giving them encouragement.

Now to the point of why I told you all that.....when it was little Miss Rylee's turn and as she was walking up to the mic, she makes eye contact with me (I am to the side of the pulpit) and she says "Mom, don't help me. I know it." I nod and say "I know. Go ahead." She then turns to me, and says very loudly in the microphone "SIT DOWN, I don't need your help!" She then proceeds to tell her memorized part, smiling, and looking all around the congregation, and speaking very clearly and loudly. Now because she banished me and I had to squat down and not be next to her, I could not see what she was doing, but this is what everyone told me :) Everyone laughed...some uncontrollably...

Then it was Blake's turn. He did great. He had his part memorized too, but forgot the last phrase. I tugged on him as he was leaving, so he could finish it...but the music already started...but he wanted to finish it anyways so he came quickly back to the mic and said the rest. He was cute too. everyone did a little chuckle and he smiled his great smile. I just wanted to write these cute little things down before I forgot and so I could have it forever :)

Moving on...After church today we attempted some family photos. I wish I had my hair down so I wouldn't look like a man, but I had a very busy morning trying to get all the kids ready and be prepared and at church early for the program. Oh well. Everyone else looks great!
