Baby appointment update

I had my routine check up today.  Heard the baby's heartbeat again (I love that part).  He wanted to check me again because of all the pains and things that I have.  He said the outside of my cervix is opened a little, but the inside of my cervix is still closed...umm...I don't really know what that means, but he is running another test for preterm labor.  I should find out the results this afternoon.  All I know is that this baby needs to bake a little bit longer before baby comes into the world, preferably 8 more weeks according to the doctor (my body would like it out sooner).  That is all I know at the moment.  I'll write more later when I know more.
