What is Going On?!!!

I know every pregnancy and labor/delivery is different, but seriously, what is my body doing?  I have been having contractions forever now, but they have been strong and intense for a week.  The last couple days they have been as close to 3 minutes. This morning I would have sworn it was the day. I even would have gone into the hospital if it wasn't the middle of the night, but I wanted my family to be able to sleep as much as possible.  I was contracting all evening and then went to bed around 11:30.  I was awake by 1;30 and cramping like crazy, feeling sick, got sick, and contractions all over the place.  I was sure today was the day....and nothing.  At 7 am my cramping subsided to just a little bit .  Contractions became less intense (still there).  And I didn't feel sick enough to go into the hospital at this point.  So frustrating. I am trying to be patient, but baby we want to see you!  It's like the baby is teasing me.  I am really looking forward to holding baby in our arms and the kiddos are dying to "see the baby again."  They keep rubbing my belly saying, "baby come out today, we want you."  The good thing is that there is an end in sight, I'm  just to the point where I want the end to be TONIGHT!!!
