Some of you are wondering what happened at my last dr,'s visit. Here is what I know. I know that I have migraine disorder, I know I have carpel tunnel, and I found out today that I have something called Brown's syndrome (my muscle in my left eye is weakening). I also found out today that my left eye (the one I have been blind in "since I was born" has scar tissue and signs of past infection. He said the infection COULD have been what cause my blindness either back when I was 8 (when we discovered the problem) or maybe even in utero. There are a few things we still do not know. The doctor also found a "spot" in my left eye today. Now this could be a number of possiblities from Macular degeneration, tumor, or even just scar tissue (hope for the later). I have to see a retina specialist on Friday. (He wanted me seen "right away.") I also had 6 vials of blood taken today to test for all different kinds of neurological disorders. I have never had that much taken at one time! I also am going to be having another MRI, have to see another neurologist, and see a muscular specialist for my eye. Wow, what a way to start out the year (and end the last one). All I ask is for are some prayers. I am trying to think positive, but the unknown is frankly scary! I'll write more when I know more.
