Baby Appointment

I had my appointment today.  I had a lot of things to talk with the doctor about, but most of it, I don't feel comfortable writing about it.  Those who know me well, know that I have been in severe pain lately and things are getting very hard to do.  Things like making and cleaning up dinner, cleaning the bathroom and sometimes just walking, brings me so much pain.  The doctor examined me and mentioned that the baby is very low.  However, my cervix is still closed (thank goodness).  He did swab me and is running a test as we speak for a hormone or enzyme or something like that that is supposed to tell us if I have started pre-term labor.  Let's just keep our fingures crossed that I am not in pre-term labor.  I have to hold this baby in for 12 more weeks (very painful weeks I am sure).  He told me I need to do as little as possible.  This is so hard seeing I have a 5 year old and three year old, cleaning, cooking, and a husband.  Not to mention the babysitting I do on a regular basis.  So we shall see how all this goes.  I try to put on a good face, but it is getting harder and harder to do because I am experiencing pain I have never ever felt before!  Anyways,  I hope the phone call from the doctor will be good news and I hope to get some rest....rest? hahahahha
