Sweet Conversation

Yesterday at lunch time I had one of those special conversations with Blake and Rylee that I just want to hold on to and cherish.  The conversation actually started with Rylee talking about how her baby in her tummy was really enjoying  eating her food.
Then her cousin B chimed in and said something like, "You don't have a baby in your tummy. Your weird."  I told him that Rylee can act like she has a baby in her tummy if she wants.
Then Rylee said," I won't really have a baby in my tummy until I am married in the temple."  (This is something we have been trying to teach her).
Then Blake said, "Mommy and daddy were married in the temple."
Rylee- "Yeah mommy got to wear a pretty princess dress."
Blake- "I looked very handsome too."
Rylee- "I was also wearing a pretty white preincess dress."
Me- "Are you talking about Aunt Katie's wedding at the temple last year?'
Rylee- "No, when we were watching you and daddy in the temple when you got married.  Up in heaven."
Blake- "Yeah we saw you from heaven."
Me- "Really? (trying not to get all teary-eyed) Who else was there?
Rylee- "well our baby was there."
Blake- "and some other people, but I can't remember."

That was the end of the conversation. I thought this was one of the sweetest moments I have ever had with my kiddos.  They are so special and close to the spirit.  Children have something about them, especially when they are little.  I truly believe what they were telling me is true.  They were watching us from heaven or even their sweet little spirits were in the sealing room with us.  I am so blessed to have such sweet children who are so close to our Heavenly Father, so close that they still remember things that happened up there.  I love you Blakers and Rylee Roo!

Wow! What a special sweet moment! I hope you always remember that and tell your kids this story over and over again. What wonderful sweet children we are given from our Heavenly Father! I wish I knew if my kids were there!
