Kindergarten!

The first two pics are of Blake preparing for orientation. He did awesome at orientation! I really did think today was going to be a breeze. Daddy came home from work during lunch so he could come with us. It was very nice having him there too. We walked to school and he was very excited, he bothered me all morning about it. We found his cubby, and the friend he met yesterday and he sat down. No other parents were leaving at this point (so I think this is why he was starting to get upset). I wanted to get in and out because I knew he would start to be sad when he saw other kids sad. He then started to say things like, "I don't want you to leave."

"Will you ever come back?" Then he made me go up to the teacher and tell her that he was scared and he was going to miss me. After about a hundred kisses and "I love you's" and a few failed attempts at him running out the door after us, Mrs. Walker came and took his hand and off he went! When I picked him up, he said he had an awesome time. I hope tomorrow goes a little better!
