We have another bike-rider

Rylee learned to ride a bike this afternoon! I thought it was time to teach her since she will be in a cast the rest of the summer...boo :( I only held on to the bike and ran with her a little for like 2 times and then she had it all by herself! She's such a big girl.

(Maybe I should take a brief moment and explain what we know about the cast and why she needs one. Ry had an MRI last Friday on her ankle. I took her in the Dr. about two months ago for other reasons...her fatigue, dark circles, and I happened to mention that she complains of ankle and back pain. The DR checked it out and had us do an xray on her ankle. After that we were told she needed an MRI because a lucency was found on the xray. So that happened last week. We were told this week that she has a condition called osteochondritis dissecans in her ankle. From my understanding, not enough blood flow to her bone and joint in her ankle and causes pain because a piece of bone is floating around in there (I haven't talked to the specialist yet, that's just my Google understanding). So she needs to wear a cast for 8 weeks to see if it will heal with no movement or pressure on it. If the cast doesn't work, then she will need surgery. Everyone keeps asking me about her fatigue and what the Dr has said to that. We still don't know anything about what may be causing her fatigue. I don't know if the the condition she has in her ankle is in any way related to it.)

Anyways, back to the reason I did this post! Here is cutie patootie Rylee getting ready to ride her bike.

Here she is in action!
